Q&D construction challenge Q&D Construction, a trusted name in Nevada construction since 1964, approached us with a milestone: their 60th anniversary. They needed a commemorative logo that could honor six decades of grit, growth, and excellence—without drifting from their established brand identity. The logo had to serve across platforms—from embroidered apparel to fleet graphics to executive presentations—while appealing to both internal crews and corporate partners. strategy We started with a foundational truth—Q&D’s brand is built on trust, toughness, and teamwork. The mark featured: A bold “60 YEARS” lockup—anchored by Q&D’s iconic logoFraming inspired by structural elements—evoking steel, rivets, and man hole covers.A badge-style form—making it easy to use across apparel, decals, and signage marking a legacy. icon system In tandem with the anniversary mark, we developed a custom icon set for Q&D’s six core divisions:Each icon uses the same hexagonal frame, but features a bold, graphic treatment unique to its service. These icons reinforce brand consistency across internal departments, external proposals, apparel, and vehicles—while making it easy to identify project types at a glance. result The final logo rolled out across uniforms, digital assets, field equipment, and special event materials—serving as a symbol of pride for employees, clients, and the communities Q&D has helped build for 60 years.
