i-80 Gold is doing the work—investing in cleaner mining, supporting their workforce, and protecting Nevada’s landscape. However, like many industrial brands, they faced a challenge: how to communicate complex ESG initiatives in a way that feels clear, credible, and relatable?
They didn’t just need a graphic design studio. They needed a creative marketing agency that understood the language of mining and how to bring it to life through strategic content and visual storytelling.

At Wildish Agency, we specialize in branding for industrial companies, and this project hit home. Our goal was to create a sustainability report design that felt as honest and hardworking as the people behind the operations. We focused on clean layout design, smart content strategy, and a grounded tone that reflected i-80 Gold’s values: bold, transparent, and committed to progress.

We also saw an opportunity to strengthen their brand system with a custom visual language, making the report not only readable but also recognizable.

We crafted a print and digital sustainability report that strikes a balance between form and function. Technical data was made approachable. Key ESG icons stood out. The layout was designed to guide the reader, not overwhelm them.

This wasn’t about pushing pixels—it was about telling the right story in the right way. One that felt true to the mining industry and meaningful to stakeholders, investors, and local communities.

To elevate the visual hierarchy and enhance the user experience (UX) across the report, we designed a custom ESG icon set from the ground up. These icons represent key sustainability topics—water conservation, emissions reduction, workforce health, and land reclamation—and serve as quick visual cues for readers.

Each icon was crafted with scalability in mind, designed to function across digital platforms, printed reports, presentations, and internal communications. It’s a modular, branded asset system that will serve i-80 Gold long after this report.

The finished product is more than a report—it’s a brand storytelling tool. One that reflects the integrity of i-80 Gold’s mission, builds trust with stakeholders, and makes a strong visual statement in the mining and industrial space.
